SINGING

Singing 9 years upwards

Our singing lessons held on Saturdays’, take the form of small age appropriate group classes where pupils learn from both the teacher and fellow students in a relaxed environment.

We teach vocal skills, such as music reading, posture, tone production and projection along with breathing technique and control, ear training, diction, expressive singing and musical interpretation. Students also receive singing material suitable for performances, auditions, parties and exams.

Students are trained to become all round performers, gaining valuable singing and performance skills, as well as developing confidence and improved communication skills.

Singing students may enter Feis Maitiu and the Ringaskiddy Youth Festival as solo singers and have the opportunity to perform in all our showcases.
