Mums, Bums and Tums – Dance Keep Fit – Monday Nights
This class will run on Monday nights 7-8pm. Instructor: Careen Wolfe.
Mums, Bums and Tums is a high energy dance keep fit class based on fun and fitness. The classes will combine a high impact cardio vascular work out, stretching and strengthening exercises and simple dance sequences with the aim of improving physical fitness, flexibility, co ordination, poise and grace.
This class is ideal for people who want to loose weight and tone up or simply want to dance.
Pilates – Monday & Thursday Nights
“In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 sessions you will see the difference and in 30 sessions you will have a new body” Joseph Pilates.
The Pilates Programme with the Wolfe Stage School runs on Monday and Thursday nights either
Beginners/ Intermediate Monday 8-9pm or Thursday 7-8pm
Intermediate Advanced thursday 8-9pm.
Basic Principles:
A firmer flatter torso, a centre of strength, stronger abdominal, back, hip and buttock muscles. Improved posture and balance. Elongated and tone muscles lengthen your body and increase your flexibility. Correct Breathing.
Instructor: Orla Fitzgerald
Orla was first introduced to Pilates whilst studying classical ballet in the U.K. Orla is a qualified teacher for the Royal Academy of Dance. Having recently relocated from Dublin to Cork where she successfully ran three ballet schools. She worked for three years for a physiotherapy clinic teaching group mat classes and doing one to one rehabilitation’s with clients. Orla believes in the principles of Pilates and is dedicated to its teaching.
