You should all have received this info at class but just incase here it is. This Friday is the final day for accepting names for the trip,so anyone who has not done so already should message/email/text to have your name included .
We propose to take a group of dance and drama students to London to visit the West End in October 2015. Students will get the opportunity to attend 2 West End shows, participate in drama and dance workshops in Pineapple Dance Studios and visit some of the sights in London. The proposed dates for the Dance trip are Tuesday 13th – Thursday 15th October 2015 and Drama Trip Tuesday 20th-Thursday 22nd October 2015.
We will be staying for 3 days and two nights. We will leave Cork early on the Tuesday and return on the evening of Thursday . We will be staying in a hotel near the city centre and will provide coach transfers to and from the London locations during the visit. We have provisionally booked tickets to Miss Saigon on the West End and depending on numbers we will also attend one of the following shows: Matilda, Charlie and the Choclate Factory, Jersey Boys. We have some other activities planned however these cannot be confirmed until I have definite numbers. I also hope to give students the opportunity to do some shopping in Oxford Street.
The cost of the trip is approx €500. This price includes the flights, 2 nights BNB accommodation, tickets to two West End shows, coach travel throughout London, workshops in Pineapple Dance Studios, 2 x London Excursions
/Tourist Attraction and insurance.
Obviously places are limited. If your child would like to attend, please fill out the form below and return it to Careen for Dance or Declan for drama next week along with a non refundable deposit of €100. (cash or cheques-cheques should be made payable to NST Travel). All students must have a valid passport and I require a photocopy of that passport along with the deposit.
If you would like to attend please text/email/message us your name so we can estimate numbers for booking etc.
Parents please note: once your deposit has been paid, and your child has been confirmed as having secured a place, a place will then be booked by NST Travel on the trip for your child, including their flight. This means that you will be liable to pay the outstanding balance even if your child changes their mind about travelling.
Students will be chaperoned at all times during the trip. This trip is only available to secondary school students who are currently studying dance/drama/singing/cheer with The Wolfe Stage School.
Those in 6th class now / going to secondary in September are not eligible this year.
